Blog Post 7: Changes to my Study Programme.
I believe that the Psychology Career has a curriculum that allows students
to have a broad knowledge about the different theories and psychological
models. However, what would change in this regard
are the extracurricular courses, reducing their number or integrating more that
are related to the interdisciplinary dynamics of Facso's careers.
As for the workload and length of studies, I
wouldn’t make any particular change, except in what includes the number of
activities in the group that must be carried out. There are courses where all
evaluations are group, which can be very exhausting, especially now in the
current context of pandemic.
Regarding the infrastructure of the faculty, there are many buildings that
have not been finished for years, something that is important to resolve if at
any time we return to face-to-face classes.
In the case of technologies to make classes, I
don’t consider that they should be modified in terms of methods, but in terms of reliable strategies that
allow verifying that students don’t have the necessary measures to participate
in classes, such as the internet or computers.
Finally, in terms of teaching methods, I feel that the best possible has
been done by the teachers of my career so that we can study in the most optimal
way, being a really stressful situation for them not
being able to see the faces of the students during classes or the academic load
that mixes with personal life. I thank them for the extra effort they are
making.
Group work became more challenging than ever hahaha and I agree that there are many buildings on campus that are half built, in arts it is chaos. Regards
ResponderEliminarIn my opinion, I think that group work is very enriching. I like a lot, but obviously working with people who are helpful and that the group is a good complement.
