Blog Post 6: Postgraduate Studies.

Hello everyone! In this blog I would like to talk about my possible postgraduate studies. I've always liked the idea of ​​specializing in Psychology, with the areas of Clinical and Legal Psychology being my favorite options.

The Clinical Area interests me a lot because I feel that in these times of uncertainty as a result of the pandemic and the social outbreak is when people need more to be heard, especially those with internal conflicts that generate suffering in their daily lives. In the Legal Area, I'm very interested in Criminology and Victimology, since crime and homicides have increased a lot and experts are needed on the subject, to be able to recognize the causes for committing a crime through a diagnosis and to be able to help the victims of said events.

At the beginning of my degree I was very interested in being able to study abroad, either in Russia or Scotland, but due to the pandemic crisis I prefer to specialize in Chile, even if the virus is controlled. Preferably, I would choose a part-time course, so that I can be studying and working as a psychologist at the same time in order to gain more experience and have a stable salary that allows me to help my family have a better quality of life.
