Blog Post 5: My Future Job.

Hello everyone! Today I would like to talk about my dream job.

One of the things I like most about the psychology career is that it has many specialties to choose from: Clinical, Community, Occupational, Judicial and Educational. So far, the areas that I have liked the most are Clinical and Judicial.

In the Clinical case I would like it to go indoors, having a consultation with my sister and brother-in-law, who are a nurse and a psychiatrist respectively. In the Judicial case I would like to work in Criminology, because I find it exciting to discover through a psychological profile those individuals who are lying in their statements or pretending to have a disease at the time of committing a crime.

As for traveling for my work, sometimes I dream of obtaining a doctorate abroad, meeting the love of my life in another country, sharing tastes, getting married and starting a family in another place; but then I remember that I still have a long way to go and I miss it.

Regarding the salary I’m not very concerned as long as I can support myself and help my family, although with the passage of time I would like to earn more so that my parents can be better and I can start a family. But one step at a time.
