Blog Post 3: My Favourite Movie.
Hello everyone!
In this post I would like to talk about cinema. I still remember that my first
movie was The Emperor's New Groove, when I had five years old and I couldn't
stop laughing for a week. In my childhood I loved to watch comedy, science
fiction and superhero movies, but when I grew up I was interested in suspense,
horror and detective films, because I've always was interested in the
complexity of their plots, the personalities of the antagonist and their
motives for being evil.
However, one of
my favourite movies today is Ip Man, which is about martial arts and tells the
story of the legendary Bruce Lee's master and his suffering during the Japanese
invasion of China in the World War II. This film, in addition to having
incredible fight sequences, it teaches us the true meaning of martial arts
through humility, respect and love for oneself and for those around you. His
martial style is Wing Chun, created by the Shaolin priestess Ng Mui and which
focuses more on defensive than offensive techniques.
I highly
recommend it!
my taste for movies has change too, but i cant watch a horror movies :(
