Blog Post 8: English Language Challenges.
I believe that learning English today is essential to function in almost any job, with different types of people and in different parts of the world. Therefore, the university represents the key moment to learn as much as possible about this subject, being very important both for the curriculum and for interpersonal relationships. That is why the use of blogs is important and fun, because from different topics that don’t necessarily have to do with the university, one can express and practice English at the same time. However, the fact that we’re in a pandemic has made it more difficult to learn, due to the lack of direct contact with other students. In my case, I feel that my greatest difficulty has been pronunciation, because although I can understand and write well, I put my mind blank when I have to speak because I’m too shy.
